We want to share a very nice note from a brand-new ImageQuest Managed IT Services client. They are so new our contract with them was signed only earlier this month.
Davis House Child Advocacy Center combats child abuse by coordinating services to children and families in crisis. It also provides community education focused on prevention and early intervention.
The 20-year-old non-profit organization serves children in Williamson, Hickman, Lewis and Perry counties in Tennessee. Davis House provides services at no cost to the children and families the organization serves.
Right after they signed our contract – and before we could complete our onboarding of them as a client, their VPN (Virtual Private Network) went down.
“You can imagine the impact that had on our team as we are working remotely in various settings due to COVID-19,” Carolyn Evans, the organization’s Director of Victim Services, wrote in an email to our CEO, Milton Bartley.
We immediately tasked ImageQuest Project Manager Matt Moses and System Administrator Josh Quigley to help them out.
“Both Matt and Josh were so responsive in arranging a plan and coming on site,” Evans wrote. “Josh did an excellent job in addressing the issue and did not feel comfortable leaving until we had verified that each employee could access the system.
“It was excellent customer service and professionalism, and we are very excited to be working with your team!” Evans continued. “I just wanted to take a minute to brag on your people – they are exceptional! Thank you!”
We are excited to work with Davis House because of its important mission.
Davis House provides investigative and healing services to families from its four-county service area who are dealing with allegations of sexual or severe physical abuse of a child.
Specifically, the non-profit collaborates with other professionals in the field of child abuse to provide investigative services, focusing on determining if evidence exists to support the allegation.
Davis House also provides counseling services to affected families, whether or not the allegations are substantiated.
And Davis House runs community education and awareness programs that educate and train adults and children in the community to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child abuse.
